OFF-SITE TRAINING

In recognition that to many of the trainees the classroom environment can be intimidating, we have taken special care to balance practical activities with classroom tuition, which at Goole is provided in the relaxed, comfortable surroundings of a state of the art training facilities.

I am accredited to nationally accredited standards as endorsed by the Health & Safety Commission. Along with holding other professional awards, such as the 730-7 City & Guilds teachers award. I and fellow instructors have a wealth of industrial experience and knowledge that will benefit students greatly no matter what their vocation.

All coursework is well supported by course notes and literature with power-point presentations, thus ensuring students receive realistic and forward thinking training.

Equipment is valuable but so are people and company’s are only as good as the people they employ and the standard of training they have received, our aim is to improve that standard even further.

It’s a legal requirement under Health and Safety Work Law;

"that Employers ensure all persons are suitably trained. And given information, instruction, training and supervision."

PUWER Regulations 1998, Regulation 9 stipulates that ;

“Employers must ensure no persons operates or uses mobile work equipment unless they have been suitably and adequately trained by an accredited instructor to an accredited standard."

Training delivered will be of a very high standard and meets all the relevant legal requirements as endorsed by Health & Safety
